Senior Living Community The Haven at Columbus Announces New Senior Living Advisor, Julia Taylor

Senior living community, The Haven at Columbus, is excited to announce Julia Taylor as their new Senior Living Advisor.

Julia has lived in the Columbus area most of her life and has worked in several areas of senior adult care including as an Occupational Therapy Aid, Activity Director, Volunteer Coordinator, and Marketing Director in various senior living communities since the 1980s.

Julia began working with seniors at just twelve years old as a volunteer in a skilled nursing facility.

“I have always had a passion for senior adults. Those early years of volunteering led me to a career in the senior adult world.”

Julia and her husband David have three grown children and three grandchildren who are the joys of their lives. In her free time, Julia enjoys reading, baking, doing art projects, playing the piano, and going to the beach.

“I am delighted to be a part of the William James Group and The Haven at Columbus in Columbus, GA, and am thankful for this new opportunity!”

Julia has been serving as the Senior Living Advisor at The Haven at Columbus since August 2025.
