Exciting Changes Coming to The Haven at Columbus
Nestled along the Chattahoochee River, Columbus is the second largest city in Georgia. Senior living communities are an integral part of the region, serving seniors with assisted living and memory care needs, as well as retirement living. The Haven at Columbus has been a fixture of the Columbus community for more than 30 years.
Though our senior living community has been known by other names in the past, The Haven at Columbus is renewing our commitment to provide a serene and loving place for our residents to call home. Through the years, our community has endured trying times and faced various challenges. It is our goal to face lingering challenges head-on in order to cultivate an environment of compassion, peace, and support for our residents, their families, and our staff.
We understand the importance of transparency when changes occur, both big and small, and are excited to share with you some of the intentional changes being made at The Haven at Columbus in order to bring our goals to fruition.
Refocusing our Mission and Values
In October 2024, we announced new management with William James Group. It’s imperative to us that our residents feel truly at home in our Columbus, Georgia, community, and the mission and values of William James Group have significantly helped to reshape the ethos of our community.

These changes reflect our deep commitment to our mission, as well as our desire to exemplify our core values together with our compassionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable staff.
Building Updates & Renovations
We are pleased to announce that material changes are coming to The Haven at Columbus over the next several months. All common areas have received new flooring, giving a whole new feel to each room, and there’s more to come!
Visual restyling of our concierge area is currently underway, with updates being made to some of the artwork, furniture, and general layout. These improvements will make the space warm and welcoming. Additionally, preventative maintenance updates that had been put off are now being addressed.
Below are some high level, conceptual renderings of the proposed renovations that will take place over the course of the next few months.
